Pant Hangers & Strut Hangers for Dry Cleaners
Pressed trousers need a hanger that holds the crease and doesn't let them slide. Norton Supply carries strut, non-slip rubber and clip pant hangers by the case, plus pant guards for wire hangers. In-stock orders ship within 1–2 business days.
Which Pant Hanger Do You Need?
- Strut hangers (14.5 ga): the dry cleaning standard for pressed trousers and skirts. The latex-coated bar grips without a separate guard.
- Non-slip rubber (13 ga): heavier wire with a rubber bar. A good fit for heavier slacks and for anyone who wants to skip paper guards.
- Uniform latex (13 ga): hangs a uniform shirt and its pants together on one hanger.
- Clear clip hangers (14″): sliding padded clips for skirts, shorts and slacks that hang by the waistband.
- Pant guards (17″): slip over the bar of any standard wire hanger to stop creasing and slipping.
Pant Hanger FAQs
What is a strut hanger?
A wire pant hanger with a straight bottom bar. Ours have a latex coating that grips trousers and holds the press.
Strut or non-slip rubber: which should I use?
Strut (14.5 ga) is the lighter, economical everyday choice. Non-slip rubber (13 ga) is heavier wire with a stronger grip.
Do I need pant guards?
Not with strut or rubber hangers. Guards are for plain wire hangers without a coated bar.
How many come in a case?
Strut 250; non-slip rubber 50 or 300; uniform 500; clear clip 100; pant guards 2,500.
