Bill & Coin Changers for Laundromats
Bill Changers, Coin Changers & Dispensers for Laundromats
A changer that's out of coins or rejecting bills is a customer walking out the door. Norton Supply carries bill changers and dispensers from American Changer and Standard Change-Makers, from compact single-hopper units to high-capacity, high-security models, plus coin counters and laundry tokens. Norton Supply absorbs ground shipping; each order carries a flat $10.95 handling fee covering warehouse labor, packaging materials, and the carrier costs we absorb.
How to choose a bill changer
- Front load or rear load: A front-load changer is filled and serviced from the front, so it can stand anywhere on the floor. A rear-load changer mounts through a wall and is filled from a back room or office, keeping the cash side out of the customer area.
- Single or dual hopper: The hopper holds the coins the changer pays out. A dual hopper gives you more capacity between fills or lets you dispense two denominations, such as quarters and tokens.
- Single or dual bill acceptor: Dual validators keep the changer taking bills if one acceptor jams or goes down, which matters most in an unattended store.
- Security: High-security and stainless steel models, like the American AC1002, add protection for stores open late or unattended.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a front-load and rear-load bill changer?
Front-load changers are filled and serviced from the front and can stand anywhere. Rear-load changers mount through a wall and are filled from a back room, so the cash side stays out of the customer area.
Do I need a dual hopper?
A dual hopper holds more coins between fills or dispenses two denominations, such as quarters and tokens. Busy or unattended stores benefit most.
Why choose a changer with dual bill acceptors?
If one bill acceptor jams or fails, the second keeps the changer taking money, so customers aren't turned away while you wait for service.
How does Norton Supply handle shipping?
We absorb ground shipping on your order. Each order carries a flat $10.95 handling fee that covers warehouse labor, packaging materials, and the carrier costs we absorb.
